Ceremony 2022
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The competition program of the Golden Mask Festival 2022 is coming to an end. The Golden Mask National Theatre Award winners will be announced on April 20 and will include the Awards winners in 38 nominations, in all genres covered by the annual and the largest event of Russia's theatrical life. This time the Awards Ceremony will be held online. The Festival took place during an exceptionally difficult time for all of us and we the organisers and the participating theatres appreciated this. But we consider theatre to be a humanistic cause, that rather than distracting prople from reality, provides support and encouragement.
You can join the live Russian broadcast at www.goldenmask.ru at 14.00 Moscow time. The live broadcast can be viewed on the Golden Mask social networks.
On the day following the Ceremony the names of the Golden Mask winners will be published in English on www.goldenmask.ru/en/. A video recording of the Ceremony will be available on the website a few days later.
