Breaking news about Golden Mask Awards Ceremony-2020

Dear friends,

The Awards Ceremony had been scheduled for 30 October, 2020 at the Zaryadye Concert Hall. We realize that many people are very much looking forward to the event.

But nowadays we all are confronted with unprecedented challenges that we have to deal with.

The Golden Mask Festival team has been following the development of the epidemiological situation in the country and taking all necessary measures to protect our audience and technical teams of the guest companies and the venues.

Considering the dramatic worsening of theCovid-19 statistics in the recent days and the strong intention of the Festival organizers to prevent additional risks for our colleagues, partners and friends that have been invited to the Awards Ceremony, the Russian Theatre Union as the Founder of the Golden Mask Awards and the Festival team have decided that the Awards Ceremony should take place online.

The online Golden Mask Festival Awards Ceremony will be held on 10 November at 12pm (Moscow time) on the Rambler platform. The link to the live event will be posted additionally and available not only for the Ceremony participants and guests, but for all those interested in Russian theatre.
